Jiangsu Kuaida Agrochemical Co., Ltd. is transformed from the former state-owned Rudong Pesticide Plant. It is a comprehensive large-scale pesticide chemical enterprise, the domestic backbone pesticide production enterprise, the designated phosgene production enterprise, and the high-tech enterprise in Jiangsu Province. Currently, it is a joint-stock company holding 51% stock of Lier Chemical Co., Ltd. (stock code 002258). The Company covers an area of 750,000 square meters, of which 550,000 square meters for Yangkou Chemical Industrial Park. Currently its biocidal products include over 50 varieties of herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, and acid chloride series and phosgenation products cover more than 80 varieties of pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and dyes chemical intermediates. "Kuaida" trademark is well known in China, and "Yinhai" and "Daowucao" trademarks are well known in Jiangsu Province.

The Company has set up Provincial-level Technology Center, Jiangsu Technology Research Center of Phosgene Application Chemical Engineering, and Enterprise Academician Workstation. Based on self-development, the Company strengthens the cooperation with domestic well-known universities, colleges and research institutes to jointly develop high-tech products. The Company has 10 state-level new products, 3 products wining Fair Gold Medal, 11 high-tech products in Jiangshu Province, and 7 products wining Jinjiu Award in Jiangshu Province, including Bensulfuron Methyl (Daowucao), Tribenuron-Methyl, Iprodione and Diuron which are famous-brand products in Jiangsu Province. The Company has won Provincial Science & Technology Progress Award for 2 times, Municipal Science & Technology Progress Award for 5 times, and Municipal Hero for Vitalizing City by Science & Education for 3 times.

Kuaida Agrochemical pays great attention to the enterprise management, and has established National Grade A Testing Organization, passed the certification of ISO9001 quality system, ISO14001 environmental protection system, and OHSAS18001 occupational health and safety management system.
